When it comes to sensitive skin, less is more. Adopting a minimalist skincare routine with enriching products can nourish sensitive skin and fight irritation. Sensitive skin can often be dry, especially during the long winter months,in turn increasing irritation and sensitivity. The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) recommends products that are “gentle, fragrance free.” Below are both high-end and drugstore products designed for sensitive skin.

First Aid Beauty creates a comprehensive skincare line suitable for sensitive skin, including their Pure Skin Face Cleanser. The lightweight cream formula contains aloe, which soothes and calms easily irritated skin.
This facial scrub gently exfoliates without being too abrasive on the skin. It is recommended to use 2-3 times a week. The gel-based formula has ultra-fine pumice particles remove dead skin cells creating a smoother texture, perfect for putting makeup on.
First Aid Beauty’s Facial Radiance Pads are daily treatment pads soaked in lactic and glycolic acids that tone the skin. While these acids can seem intimidating, they are gentle enough for daily use. The pads also contain a lemon peel and indian gooseberry, which are both natural extracts that brighten the skin.
The MaxGlow Drops from Aveeno’s Positively Radiant line is a drugstore serum that evens skin tone and texture, while also illuminating the face with a healthy glow. The serum is non-comedogenic, so it won’t clog pores and cause breakouts.
